HSM team attend Compass Finance Golf Day

HSM Sales & Marketing Manager Carl Benfield and Estimator Ryan Broadbridge attended the Compass Finance Golf Day on 9th July at Hever Castle Golf Club. They joined customer Darren Campbell from Lightfoot International and Allan Robinson (Host from Compass) to form a team of four.

Compass is an independent finance company with an innovative and relational approach to the market. Established in 2005, they help businesses navigate the financial landscape, providing flexible and competitive funding solutions enabling their long-term success.

The event is a relaxed networking opportunity for businesses across a range of industries. It provides a great opportunity to meet up with peers, make new acquaintances and play some golf, all whilst promoting your business. The day was attended by a mix of engineering businesses and CNC machining companies, including Bystronic.

The day kicked off with coffee and bacon rolls at 9.30am, with the first tee off taking place at 11am. All competitors were eligible for the team competition as well as the Individual Stableford. There was a BBQ at 5pm, followed by the awards ceremony.

Carl said: “It was a great day, despite the challenges of the 34 degree heat! Whilst Ryan and I did not make the prize list, our team mate Darren Campbell did! He won Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin and Best Individual Score. Well done Darren!”
