What services does Havant Sheet Metal Ltd offer?
We provide a range of sheet metal fabrication services including laser cutting, CNC punching, bending, welding, tube forming, bush insertion, machining, painting and assembly. Please note that we are a sheet metal fabricator not a stockist.
What materials do you work with?
We work with various materials such as stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper, zinc, galvanised and mild steel.
Do you offer custom fabrication services?
Absolutely. We specialise in custom fabrication to meet the specific needs and specifications of our clients.
Can you handle large-scale production runs?
Yes, we are equipped to manage both small and large-scale production runs, ensuring high quality and precision.
Do you make samples / complete low volume runs?
For every commissioned job, we will make a few samples for the customer to check and approve before continuing on with the full production run. We are happy to undertake runs of any size, but please keep in mind that low volume runs will be less cost effective. Get in touch for more info.
What are your capabilities?

Do you provide design and engineering support?

Yes, our experienced team can assist with design and engineering to ensure your project is optimised for manufacturing.

Do you have a dedicated paint shop on-site?

Yes we do. We have the capabilities to undertake a range of paint coating solutions including powder coating, wet spray and stove enamelling.

What are the different types of paint finishes you offer?

We offer stove enamelling, powder coating and wet spray in-house.

How do you ensure the quality of your products?

Quality is our top priority. We use state-of-the-art equipment and adhere to strict quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process. We are ISO9001 accredited.

What is your turnaround time for projects?

Turnaround times vary based on project complexity and size, but we always strive to meet our clients' deadlines. Please contact us for a more specific timeframe.

Do you provide free quotes?

Yes - simply get in touch to inform us of your requirements and we will provide you with a customised, no-obligation quote free of charge.

How can I request a quote for my project?

You can request a quote by contacting us through our website, emailing us directly, or calling our customer service team.

What is your pricing structure?

Pricing is dependent on the work that you require and is different for every project we work on. Please get in touch to discuss your project with us and we will in turn, provide you with a quote. Please note that the price per unit will decrease as the volume increases, meaning that higher production runs will be more cost effective.

What do you charge for delivery?

This will depend on what you’re having fabricated as well as the volume. Please get in touch with details of your requirements, and we can estimate the delivery costs from there.

Do you have ISO accreditation?

Why do you use the JobBOSS ERP system?

JobBOSS is an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software system specifically designed for job shops and custom manufacturers. It provides tools to manage and streamline various aspects of the manufacturing process, from quoting and order processing to scheduling, inventory management, and financials. Benefits include improved efficiency, enhanced visibility, scalability (it can grow with your business), and customer satisfaction (as it will result in enhanced customer service).

Can you accommodate site visits?

If you’d like to arrange a site visit to look around our facilities prior to placing an order, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to oblige.

Does HSM attend exhibitions?

We regularly attend Southern Manufacturing, Subcon, Lab Innovations and the Mach Exhibition. We also visit other exhibitions to meet up with customers and suppliers.

Does HSM provide any community sponsorship?

We sponsor Havant & Waterlooville FC. Our Premier Sponsorship Package includes four tickets for every home game, plus a meal and drinks for those attending. This enables us to invite customers and suppliers along to join us, and we also give shop floor staff the opportunity to take advantage of these tickets with friends and family, which is a nice extra.

We are located in Havant, Hampshire, and our business hours are

Monday to Thursday from 7.30am to 4.30pm
Friday from 7.30am to 12.30pm
